Welcome to Field Stone Fruit Wines. More Than a Winery — An Experience.

Nestled on 50 acres of berry orchards just outside Strathmore, only 40 minutes east of Calgary, Field Stone Fruit Wines is Alberta’s first estate fruit winery, known for its sun-ripened fruit and easygoing wines made on site.
Established in 2005, it was built on a simple idea: grow exceptional fruit in Alberta’s prairie climate and turn it into wines that reflect the place they come from.
Today, Field Stone is a welcoming, experience-driven destination led by Laura Atherton and Phil Hoogendam, where guests come for U-Pick in the summer, relaxed patio days, live music events, and cozy indoor tastings in the winter.
It’s a place for unstructured visits that turn into full days, where good fruit, good wine, and good company come together without needing to be rushed.

Since taking over the orchard and winery, Phil and Laura have been focused on creating more ways for people to experience Field Stone — from expanded events and live music events to new seasonal experiences, family activities, and traditions still to come.
Their goal is to keep the orchard growing, the calendar full, and the farm feeling like a place people want to return to year after year.
